Chick Lit Central Guest Book Review

A guest review at Chick Lit Central.  I jumped at the chance to review this book, guessing that it was about a global road trip – and how cool would that be?  I was wrong.  Although the family’s global adventures are shared, this book is also also about a grief.  Parts of it were painful to read, especially for me this summer, but it is beautifully written.  I recommend it to anyone who has lost someone they love.

Writing News – A New Gig!

I have some good news to share.  This summer I was hired as a full-time review contributor for the site, Chick Lit Pluschick-lit-button[1]I’m excited.  I’ve been a fan of the site for few years now and I’m grateful for the opportunity, because CLP has a huge following.  Be sure to bookmark the site.  In addition to book buzz and reviews, there are regular features about health, fitness, style and entertainment news.  I’ll be also be writing articles for the site about new book releases and hot television shows.

It’s been good for me that this came along when it did, forcing me to get lost in fun some stories after the sad events of late spring.  I was happy for the escape and have already had a few features posted:

A review of Sweet Nothings by Janis Thomas

A preview of August Chick Lit Releases.

My bio went up today, so I’m official.  I’ve had other reviews posted this summer as well, in My Forsyth and on Chick Lit Central.  I’m going to post those this week and hopefully a road trip wrap up.  Baby steps in my attempt to get back to “normal.”

As always, thank you very much for the support!
